Copywriting encompasses generating copy material for brands, to promote their product or business, in order to generate sales. This can be anything from product descriptions, website landing pages, email marketing campaigns, social media captions, and more. Knotty Knickers is an inclusive, affordable lingerie brand. They offer trendy undergarments and intimates for all body types.
I created social ad copy, new product descriptions, launch emails, push notifications, ecommerce product descriptions and website edits. Below, click to view copy samples that I did for the brand.

Lily & Fox offers nail designs that are easy to use at home. With Lily & Fox, your manicure will always be on point, since they have styles for every occasion: holidays, seasons, moods and more.
For Lily & Fox, I wrote commerce launch emails. These were meant to be short and witty, while highlighting a new product, in order to get the reader to the site. I used the brand voice, which is friendly and casual, where they greet with “hey”, and sign the email with “love”. The emails are meant to have a cute, catchy subject line, followed by a quick product/collection introduction.

CHICK NY is a New York streetwear brand, owned by the director of Runway7 at New York Fashion Week. For this brand, I wrote product descriptions for all 70 products in the Q2 catalog. These consisted of an average of 60 words each, describing the product in detail, with the use of the brand identity voice. The tone is playful, empowering and straightforward.
Golden Hippo
Golden Hippo is a wellness blog that is dedicated to improving the lives of people and pets, while highlighting popular health and wellness brands.
For Golden Hippo, I wrote an article about Yuka, a mobile app that scans products and rates its ingredients, based on levels of toxicity. The prompt was: “Write a 500-word article about a healthy habit you have in your life and why you think we should try it. Write it conversationally, in a way that really makes us want to implement it TOMORROW.” Check it out below!
