Behindthechair.com is an educational platform to improve the daily lives of professional hairstylists, through learning new techniques, business advice, color formulas, staying up to date with celebrity trends, how-tos, and more. Celebrity stylists host live educational webcasts called “BTC University (BTC-U)“, as well as educational events like the “BTC Show” and “BTC On Tour“. I joined as press to cover these events, through recap articles and social media stories. BTC partners with the most elite professional brands like Arc Scissors™, OLAPLEX, Redken Pro, FEKKAI, Jack Winn Pro, and many more. BTC also has a professional manicurist section, which I adored writing for, since I started my own nail business in 2020, providing me lots of personal experience.
